Last Friday night the production team from Endemol’s Big Brother were in The Green Ginger, Torquay scouting contestants for this year’s show to be broadcast on Channel 5 in the summer.

A stream of eager volunteers approached Sam and Steve sharing their enthusiasm for the show and reasons why they should be a housemate in with a chance of winning the life-changing £150,000 prize.

A number have since been asked to attend a second interview in London next weekend.
