Torquay welcomes Britain’s sexiest farmer to the national convention
BRITAIN’S sexiest farmer will join more than 5,000 other young farmers in Torquay for the national convention next weekend.
George Grant, 20, who works on the family farm in Lincolnshire was voted Britain’s sexiest farmer by a public vote which attracted more than 15,000 votes.
Known to many as “Granty”, he is an arable lad, farming with his dad near Market Rasen.
The National Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs (NFYFC) is one of the largest rural youth organisations in the UK.
It heads a nationwide body of 662 Young Farmers’ Clubs (YFCs) in England and Wales dedicated to supporting young people in agriculture and the countryside.
The National Convention runs from Friday 24th – Sunday 26th April in Torquay based at the Riviera International Centre with entertainment, competitions and a foam party.
Radio 1 DJs Huw Stephens, Alice Levine, Aled Haydn Jones, Dev Griffin and Chris Stark are all on the line-up along with the bars and clubs of the town centre ready to welcome the party-goers.
I’ll be capturing the fun with my camera across town by day and night over the weekend. Look out for the photos at www.shotbyrob.com/shop and in the Herald Express.
There’s a pint of Stella waiting for you at The Green Ginger, George!
